Acne scars....?

if i use bio oil or vitamin e to help get rid of my acne scars, how long will it take to see a difference, and how long until they are mostly gone?





and which is better to use, bio oil or vitamin e?

Have you tried Mederma? It's over the counter and works well on all scars.It's much more economical and readily available at most drug stores and pharmacies. Talk to the Pharmacist first. Both my wife and daughter used it. Here's a link:http://www.mederma.com/Acne scars....?
Hey I've got the same problem!


I wouldn't recommend putting oil on your skin if there's acne there already or you are acne prone.


(If this is the case then use a oil free moisturizer, it won't be amazing but after a while it'll be a bit better.)


If this is not the case and you skin is past the acne stage then I would recommend bio oil, it contains vitamin e and other good stuff like vitamin a and PurCellin.


It's a bit expensive... but the bio oil knock offs are just as good.

As a Registered Nurse specializing in skin care since 1996 I can safely advise you that oil alone will not get rid of your scars.





You have to abrade away the scar tissue which will peel of the over layers of cells and then new skin cells will regenerate and there should be a significant reduction in the appearance of the acne scarring or acne pockets.








Microdermabrasion treatments abrades the skin progressively ( not aggressively). Look into Microdermabrasion treatments. I

The combination of Tea Tree Oil soap and the Clindamycin cream is the best for Acne and pimple.


For acne scars and blemishes I lighten them up using papaya kojic and licorice base soap and cream which are available online. These work wonders. Maybe it will work on you too. Try searching it through Google 'shopaholic's bargains'
Well both work really well. Just wait like 8 weeks on new scars and 3-6 weeks on the existing ones. And just like every scar treatment, use it every 3-4 times a day.
