Acne scars?

when i was a teenager i had very bad skin problems. thats all gone now. but i have scars left over. not just skin color scars, but like actual indentations. does any body know a way to fix them. im sure its gonna cost a bit, but i'll do anything! HELP!!Acne scars?
I used to have acne scars, but not exactly pitted ones. One thing that helps with discoloration, is a good exfoliant. Try different types of scrubs, and see which ones work best for an uneven skin tone. I tried one with fruit acids and it turned out to be a good idea, because fruit acids don't hurt the skin and gently but readily remove pigmentation. Carrot or papaya is a fabulous idea, because they have a ton of enzymes to work through your discoloration. Trying a natural variety is your best bet for a more concentrated effect.

To fix this indentation problem, try a makeup primer to smooth out those dents.Acne scars?
there are some acne scar products at walmart that you can use to fade scars or you can buy a microdermidation kit that may also help
The only way to attempt to heal indendentations is through laser therapy - get ready to spend a lot and have days that feel like you have a sun burn...
Unfotunatly, theres not much you can do for pitted acne scars. Deep chemical peels and laser resurfacing are your the most effective options. Both require general anestesia and significant down-time. I am not exactly sure of the price, but certainly over $1000. I knew someone who was getting light chemical peels for the same problem (she had mild pitted scars) and said it seemed to help. Unfortunatly, she had to have them done once a month for several months. For a few days afterwards, her skin was VERY red and peeling so badly she wouldn't go out in public. She said it was quite painful. You should see a dermatologist...the good news is there are new advances in skin care all the time! In a few years there may be much less expensive and less painful options.
A good dermatologist is your best bet.

Good luck
Go to a good dermatologist. That would be your best bet.
i know you hear no oil but take it from somone whoe knows jojoba oil!!!!!!!!!!!! trust me!
You can smooth them out with laser treatments. They most likely will not go away completely but it's worth a try. You can also use prescribed topical creams on your face to help with new skin growth. I would see a dermatologist for that. I wouldn't spend my time on creams or gels that claim to fade scars being that you have indentations. Over the counter creams will not work on those. Good luck!

not much you can do besides see a dermatologist. You can probably cover it up with makeup.
