Acne scars?

i have acne scars they arnt bad but how can i get rid of them/make them less noticable without using alot of money.

p.s dont say makeupAcne scars?
It really depends on what type of scarring that you have. If you have red marks or darkened areas then you have a couple of options. You should start using a cleanser that has an exfoliant in it. The exfoliant will remove dead skin cells and encourage new skin cell growth. The new skin cell growth will start to bring out the original color of your skin and gradually erase the red marks or dark areas. There are also some OTC creams that you can apply that help to lessen the appearance of scars. You can buy both the exfoliant and the scar cream at any drug store and they are usually not very expensive.

Another product that works very well is Retin-A, but you will need to see a dermatologist or doctor to get a prescription for it. If you are using Retin-A, it's not a good idea to combine this with any other methods because Retin-A can make skin very sensitive.

If your scars are more of the ';pitted'; kind, you will need more invasive methods from a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon for results. The best way to go are injectibles, such as fat, collagen, or Restalyn. You could also go with laser resurfacing, but this is very expensive, is normally not covered by medical insurance, and is very invasive. If this is the way you go, you can meet with the doctor for a consultation and he/she will advise you on which method would be best for you.

Good luck and hope this helps!Acne scars?
