You can use Mederma. A less expensive alternative is cocoa butter. :) I used to use that often and my scar appeared less noticeably after a few weeks. How to get rid of acne scars?
Use Vitamin E to Reduce Scars
* Buy vitamin E in oil or capsule form. If you choose capsule form, you will need a sterile pin as well as the capsule, to poke the capsule and expel some of th vitamin E oil.
* Clean the scar or wound area very carefully. Vitamin E is not antibacterial or anti-fungal. If fungus or bacteria is on the area where the scar or wound is located, unless you clean it properly, the vitamin E oil may trap the bacteria and provide fertile breeding grounds for an infection.
* Expel some oil onto a cotton swab. If you use the vitamin E capsule, poke the outer shell of the capsule and squeeze the oil onto the cotton swab. Be careful not to touch the oil directly with your hands, or to spill the oil on clothing or upholstery.
* Dab the vitamin E oil on the scar or wound. Lightly coat the area with the vitamin E oil. Do not rub the oil in; you want to dab carefully.
* Cover the area with a light layer of gauze if you are concerned about the vitamin E oil getting on fabric, in eyes, or on upholstery. Do not use a bandage over the vitamin E oil; this can trap bacteria or fungus as well.
* Keep the vitamin E oil on the scar or wound for at least 4-5 hours before washing the area. Wash the area after 8 hours, to remove trapped bacteria or fungus.
* Apply vitamin E to the scar at least once a day for a few weeks, or until the scar has healed. you may need to apply vitamin E oil for one to two months for best results.

bio oil . if that doesn't work and other creams laser treatment x
Hey there! Acne scars huh. That's a tough one. Um..You can:
1. Go to a beauty therapist and have a laser treatment but it does cost quiet something. It is a quick method of getting rid of scars.
2. Go to a chemist and ask for scar cream, it usually would take around 6 to 1 year to remove this way. One tube would usually last your for three months or so depending how big the scar is/ how much it is. I hope this helps :)
i used to have a huge acne problem when i was in college. it got really bad during times of stress, like around exam times. i found that the major reason for my breakouts was stress and poor nutrition.
the best thing you can do to prevent acne, is to drink lots and lots of water. tap water is the best. it detoxifies your system. fruits also help a lot; especially citrus fruits.
don't go for soaps or cleansing agents that claim to get rid of your acne. they just dry up your skin. excess oils may cause acne but your skin still needs the oils. don't over wash either for the same reason.
i tried a lot of products from the internet because i was desperate for an acne-free face, since i was in college. the girls just didn't dig it. nothing worked as well and as fast as Acnezine.
here's the link to their site
http://www.acnezine.com/?aid=155535
i saw the effects in a week. i was so relieved that i found this product. it just turned my social life around. it not only cured the acne i had but also removed blemishes. i still use it during stressful times to prevent future breakouts. i highly recommend it
Acne scars can be more of a problem than acne because it takes a long time for them to go away. In fact, some of them stay forever on your skin. ok
dont try to get rid of them with any home remedies. been there, tried that. it just doesnt really help to hide any scars
i have found that store bought scare removers really work.
mederma is alright, but i really like ScarZone. its only like half the price and works a lot faster. just rub it in for one minute every night for a week. the scar should be completely gone by then.
Micro Dermabrasion a treatment of the exfoiliation of skin.
dont wanna be a debbie downer but in most cases those do not go away. you can do skin peels to help...they can be a little painfull and pricey, but they wont completely go away. sadly acne scars are super tough. contact a really good dermatologist but dint be sucked into stupid old wives tales like the olive oil. i mean seriously...if it was that simple the whole world would be gorgeous right? lol. good luck to you.
I would reccommend using coco butter lotion and the cream version of it as well. I had lots of unsightly acne scars when I was a kid and I use it and it is very helpful.
Bio oil helps alot.
