Acne scars.?

A little bit of background : I started having acne last summer (:@)..lol. As of now i have horrible acne scars on my face. I use a foundation (from Cover Fx) to hide them, but the thing is i'm sick of having to cover my face all the time. SOOO i started looking online for ';procedures';. The two that looked that they might actually help are the Fraxel laser and Microdermabrasion. The thing is all the spa/skin clinics all advertise such oh so AHmazing outcomes, but i'm not so sure. So my questions are:

1) Which of the two procedure is best for clearing scars?

2) What kind of results should i expect?

3) What are the side effects?

Thanks for your help!Acne scars.?
Getting rid of scars are simple and easy!! Look, all you have to do is buy Vitamin E capsules. (They sell them everywhere). You take one and squeeze out the liquid onto your scar and you spread it around. It will fade away more and more, in about 4-6 weeks it'll be gone!Acne scars.?
This *really* depends on the kind of scarring you have. There are many different types of acne scars that to us might look similar but to a dermatologist are different. The reddish marks left from acne are generally not permanent scars and WILL fade on there own (although it might take awhile)... you can speed up the process by regularly using a gently exfoliant. Make a water-baking soda paste is an oddly great way to slough off dead skin and fade scars but it might dry your skin out, so make sure you have a good, light-weight moisturizer.

Microdermabrasion is best done by a derm. or esthetician.

You should have your skin evaluated. Some scars are smaller on the surface but LARGER underneat so getting any kind of dermabrasion done can actually make them seem worse. Some scars can be treated with a laser, others need to literally be cut out, or have injections to fill them.

The laser does supposedly have great results but sometimes it will often take multiple treatments and can cost quite a bit. I really recommend you start exfoliating regularly and using a light moisturizer; drink water and make sure you are getting your proper vitamins. The healthier you are and the more your body detoxifies itself, the better your skin will look, and the faster it will heal. Good luck.
I HIGHLY recommend two products that will work fabulous for acne scars.

Microdermabrasion by BeautiControl

Regeneration Gold庐 Face and Neck Lotion also by BeautiControl.

I use both and it really does help with diminishing scars and helps the overall appearance of skin. It makes your skin look very smooth and nice.

I wouldn't use any microdermabrasion daily, once a week should be fine AND use a really good moisturizer after you use the microderm. The other item can be used daily. No side effects.

I hope this helps =)
This doesn't really answer your questions but hope it will help! With ref to the procedures think it would be sensible to speak to a dermatologist for expert advice, but for now, go with Baby Girl's advice (Vitamin E oil from capsules) or try using Bio Oil, a product designed to help with scarring, uneven skin tone and dry skin in particular.

I had nasty scars from acne and I tried doctor varon's skin bleaching system... It doesn't actually bleach your skin, it lightens the marks and scars and brightens your complexion. It comes with microdermabrasion cream and it works great! Trust me on this one.
None of them. You can lighten your acne scars to match your

skin tone using papaya kojic and licorice base soap and cream which are available online. These work wonders.

Maybe it will work on you too.

Try searching it through Google 'shopaholic's bargains'
in the philippines they do the SCAG treatment or the fat transfer ..they get some fat in your body then they will inject it in your scars ..the effect is a miracle...it will just cost you around 1000dollars or less..check www.belomed.com
you can go to a parmacy to get a cream that cures scar or go see a skin specialist
A routine regimine of cleaner, toner, and moisturizer morning and night.
rub lemon peels on the scars. and they will be gone sooon

no side effects its a homeremedy.
I don't recommend getting microdermabraision. I was told by my doctor that its really bad for your skin. It makes your skin thinner and leaves you with pinkish skin for years. Eventually the thinness of your skin will go away in a few years. My Doctor said it was unhealthy. If you have acne scars I recommend getting a chemical peel. Its great I've had it done before and it removed all my acne scars. I saw a big difference the first time I got it done. You need to have at least 6 sessions to completely remove them. Its quick, painless [actually pretty relaxing], and cheaper than any other method i've tried, its still pricey but cheaper than microdermabrasion. It basically does the same thing as microdermabrasion. The first time I got it done [I have very sensitive skin] my face was red for 3 days [because the person did it too strong] but the other times I got it done the redness went away within an hour. Getting it done makes your skin sensitive to the sun/ burns easier since all the dead skin cells are removed theres not much protecting you from the sunrays. Just make sure you wear sunscreen and cover yourself well a few days after getting it because I forgot to once and I got a really bad sunburn and I never burn. Other than that you should deff get a chemical peel its much better!
